If any of you are wondering what in the world Troy and I are doing....well....we had a Harvest Party where we were all to dress up as our favorite soda......mine is Fresca....Citrus Fresca and Troy doesn't really have a favorite soda so he was "Decaf Coffee"!!  He had to start drinking decaf because of his heart issues!  Just thought I would clarify our unusual behavior!  :)

So who doesn't like to name things?  Elizabeth, Chelsey, and Miranda just couldn't resist naming their bowling balls on Friday night.  : ) Bowling at the Lakin Lanes for teen night was a blast!

Don't Say Gross

Today in Life Science class we were studying the eye.  For a lab, we dissected a cow's eyeball.  I know that may sound nasty, but it was very educational. Once the kids found the parts on a physical eye instead of a diagram of one, it helped them remember the terms and different parts of an eye.  They also had fun doing it I think... only Abbey couldn't stand it for very long!

Happy Valentine's Day!

This photo is of my purity ring that my dad and mom gave me for my 14th birthday. Around Valentine's Day, lots of people are thinking about love, etc.  But for a Christian young lady, I remember a commitment that I have made to keep my heart pure for my future husband, and to leave my heart in the safekeeping of my parents. I hope that everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day, remembering those who love you, and that God loves you, too.  Never forget the ultimate sacrifice that He gave for us on the cross!
