Today in Life Science class we were studying the eye. For a lab, we dissected a cow's eyeball. I know that may sound nasty, but it was very educational. Once the kids found the parts on a physical eye instead of a diagram of one, it helped them remember the terms and different parts of an eye. They also had fun doing it I think... only Abbey couldn't stand it for very long!

ReplyDeleteOnce I made myself touch them and stuff it really wasn't too bad; just opening a bag and pulling four eyeballs out did not seem right!
