Some Things Never Get Old

Sometimes I wish that certain things of life could just disappear... laundry, dishes, make-up... the list goes on and on.   But certain things of life never grow old.  One of those is leading a soul to Jesus Christ.  This morning Mrs. Sharron, Miranda, and I went to visit an elderly lady (84 to be exact).  Mrs. Sharron had witnessed to her multitudes of times, but today she felt as if the Lord wanted her to present the gospel to her again.  Many people prayed for her salvation before we went to see her, and their prayers were not ignored.  Often this lady would try to get the conversation sidetrack when it turned to spiritual things, but not today!  She was just right there, with all her attention on Mrs. Sharron.  She called on the Lord to save her, and when Mrs. Sharron showed her a verse on assurance of one's salvation, she looked at Mrs. Sharron and said, "Does this mean I'm born again?". YES!!!!! I almost start crying every time I see someone trust in Jesus Christ.  This lady trusted Him because of the prayer warriors that petitioned the throne for her soul.  Who have you prayed for today?  Who have you witnessed to today?  Next time you're tired of dusting the shelves, think of doing something that never gets old. :)
